The FA Cup – Nicklas Bendtner’s classy hat-trick booked an enticing FA Cup quarter-ultimate at Manchester United as Arsenal knocked aside Leyton Orient. Marouane Chamakh slotted an early opener just before Bendtner’s exceptional header, then a curling finish, put Arsenal’s second-string in command. Bendtner’s cool third came from the penalty spot following Kieran Gibbs was tripped by Alex Revell in the box. Substitute Gael Clichy then lashed in lower with 15 minutes remaining. League A single Orient were routinely swept aside in this fifth-round replay, but Arsenal’s crushing disappointment from Sunday’s failure to accumulate their very first trophy given that 2005 – right after losing the Carling Cup ultimate to Birmingham – was challenging to conceal at a muted Emirates Stadium. The hosts to begin with looked like they lacked a spring in their action, but fears of more agony evaporated in the seventh minute with a goal of normal Arsenal top quality. Irish debutant Conor Henderson – an additional ball-enjoying midfielder – probed for a gap by means of the again-line and the 19-year-old’s deflected pass was pounced on by Tomas Rosicky, who sped to the byeline to clip a square ball by way of the legs of Charlie Daniels across the box. Moroccan striker Chamakh held his placement to coolly side-foot the ball through the legs of Terrell Forbes from eight yards out, correct into the corner of the net, for his 1st target because the end of November. Orient hit back again soon soon after as Ignasi Miquel’s inadequate headed clearance fell for Ben Chorley. But his total …

i was at that game arsenal played qualtiy arsenal for ever well done to them
GO BENDTNER! YOU ROCK MAN
You cant just call a person a fool. In my opinion, Bendtner make the right choice. We want to secure our lead and no risking any chances to score like taking a penalty from your weaker foot for a perfect hat-trick. Perfect hat-trick ? who cares, we want to win.
good peformance from bendtner
noo, hes arrogant, but Ballotelli’s worse lol
take it easy, Barcelona is heading up
No you wouldn’t. You’d be proud like us to have one of the world’s best stadiums. We reserve the best atmosphere for the big occasions. We don’t bother hollering and driving away fans home by being a bunch of drunken idiots like those scum from the midlands. We show class and applaud our opponents irrespective of the result. And thanks for the wishes, by the way. Good luck to Leyton too for this season and the next.
Bendtner may be cocky, but he does have quality. He needs more starting opertunities to prove him self, he may start against Barca and Man U, since Van Persie is out.
leyton simply were not on the same level as arsenal had no hope in this game .
yes viva khamakh et vive arsenal
@pjtufty66 you evebeen to the emirates? yeah thought not…seemslike there is no atmosphere cos the stadium is half empty due to lack of interest for the fixture. Also we beat Barcalona. simple, so you may say we only beat a league 1 team…but we beat the “best” in the world.
