Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted that he will not change his transfer plans for the summer following a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Stoke City.
The Gunners commanded the game with more than 77 percent possession, but they failed to find the cutting edge on the day. The Gunners have brought in just two players in Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette during this summer’s transfer window while their pursuit of Monaco’s Thomas Lemar appears to have reached a standstill.
With just 10 days left in the transfer window, teams from across the Premier League are looking to reinforce their respective squads, but Wenger appears content with the options in hand. The long-standing manager insists that he is focused on reducing the overall numbers in his first-team squad as it is already unmanageably big. (more…)
