Marouane Chamakh ( born on 10 January 1984) is a Moroccan footballer who plays for Arsenal as a striker. Though born and raised in France, he selected to play worldwide football for Morocco due to his Moroccan parentage. He has very great aerial capacity, scoring a lot of ambitions with his head. In 2000, at the age of 16, Chamakh accepted an offer to join the Bordeaux instruction academy even though continuing to go after his reports. He played 17 games and scored 6 objectives for the club’s reserve aspect in Championnat de France amateur 2 before making his debut for the initial team versus Metz in a Coupe de la Ligue tie on 19 January 2003. His Ligue one debut came much less than a month later on, on 8 February 2003, towards SC Bastia. His 13 Ligue 1 ambitions in 2008-09 served Bordeaux to win the title, ending Lyon’s 7 year domination. He scored five objectives in nine appearance in the Champions League, netting towards Juventus and Bayern Munich as Bordeaux triggered an upset by finishing top of their group. He also scored towards Olympiacos in the round of 16 to set up a quarter-ultimate tie with Lyon. Chamakh scored in both legs of the tie, nevertheless it was not sufficient to avert Bordeaux from becoming removed 3-2 on aggregate. C.Ronaldo vs L.     he is just as french as Samir Nasri and Sagna. Chamakh was born in france as his origins are from morocco he chose to play for the moroccan national team instead of the french.

    i just hope that van persie and arshavin stays on theyr sides, cuz chanakh needs space to play, an he is good on hes head, so it would be nice if arshavin and persie stayed on the sides to put some crossers to chamakh! 😀

    His parents both are Moroccan.
